WordPress – Front-Page Versus Back-Page

The front page is the first thing people see when they visit your site. By default, the WordPress homepage displays recent blog posts, but you can customize this in various ways to display whatever you want.

In journalism, the term back-page refers to any of the last pages in a newspaper or magazine where less prominent articles or advertisements appear. Often, these are stories or topics that aren’t necessarily of major interest to readers, but that may still be worthy of coverage, such as the results of local elections, or might be of interest to readers in other countries. The back pages are usually printed in smaller type and have fewer or different fonts than those on the front pages.

For example, cricket matches are usually front-page news if the team scores five wickets or more or makes a century. However, if one player scores an incredible putt in the final match of a tournament, it might be front-page news even if the other teams had won.

Microsoft also included a number of features for developers, such as Intellisense (a form of autocompletion) and Code Snippets, which allows users to create collections of frequently used pieces of code. The software also provided Split View, which lets the user simultaneously code in Code View and preview in Design View, and Dynamic Web Templates, which allow for the creation of templates that can be reused across multiple pages or an entire Web site.
